2020 Lent projects are well under. Photos and project summaries will be forth coming.
Saint Joseph and Sons is a Northern Illinois Catholic Organization dedicated to helping the community and their maintenance needs. Through communication with parishes and Diocese headquarters, a minimum of three projects will be selected each year based on the capabilities of the group.

Recent St. Joseph & Sons Projects
The guys have been busy in the lasts few months. We have had projects at St. Rita-Rockford, St. Mary's Oratory-Rockford, and St. Anthony-Rockford
St. Rita Parish
Replace a fence covering the HVAC equipment.
Also involved with installing basketball posts for outdoor court.
St. Anthony Parish
Remove and replace a fence surrounding the rear of the Parish Center

What's been happening lately........
with the Joes from St. Joseph & Sons?
Well, a lot actually.
Father Keith Romke had been our Chaplain for over 4 years and we had been based at St. Bridget Parish in Loves Park, IL. In July, 2017, we bid adieu to Father Romke as he was assigned Pastor of St. Patrick in Dixon, IL. Father Romke had a very profound effect on the Joes. His leadership, participation, and spiritual guidance, allowed each of us to move further along our spiritual journey. We also want to thank St. Bridget Parish for their hospitality to St. Joseph & Sons.
Some of the major projects that we recently completed are:
- St. Elizabeth Center Youth Building playground renovation
- Poor Clares Monastery Mary Garden
- Madonna Renewal Center-Freeport, IL chapel renovation
- Bishop Lane Retreat Center work - Boylan HS Senior Boys Retreat
Father Ken Wasilewski has now been named our Chaplain and we are based at Holy Family Parish in Rockford, IL. Our monthly schedule at Holy Family is Mass at 6:30 am followed by 30 minutes of our meeting and 30 minutes of spiritual development.

Boylan Students Bishop Lane Project
The Boylan Boys spent some of their weekend out at Bishop Lane Retreat Center beautifying the area around the entry sign and made a big impact with their hard work!

Holy Family School Gym Concession Project
